Boot Hill Distillery Red Eye Whiskey
$45.00
a Frontier-style, Kansas Whiskey
We take our Bourbon new make and age it in a variety of barrels, both new and used for six to twelve months. We then blend the barrels to create a whiskey with a taste of the Wild West.
Red Eye could be considered an “entry level” whiskey; at 80 proof, the novice drinker would find it approachable as a sipping whiskey. To the more experienced, it boasts an impressive depth with nuanced flavors that belie its youth. The perfect example that a whiskey does not have to be long-aged to be easily drinkable.
80 Proof, 750 ML, 40% ALC/VOL
-
Prominent notes of sweet butterscotch with a delicate floral finish.
-
Bright wood on the front end with tons of vanilla and an unexpected spiciness. A beautiful blend of sweet and spice.
-
Sweet grain, powerful vanilla, and soft oak across the back end.

"Entry flavor is definitely on the sweeter side of the scale as robust tastes of caramel corn, cocoa powder, honey, and chocolate-covered cherries make the flavor profile pleasing."

Bourbon Whiskey
$50.00
We filled our new, charred American White Oak, 53 gallon barrels with new-make whiskey using our 51% corn, 49% wheat mash. While the new-make was created from our own grain in about 14 days, we knew we wouldn't be seeing or tasting this whiskey for a long time.
