DC Sour

The DC Sour features a red wine float with Kansas winery, Shiloh Vineyard's Noiret Bourbon Barrel Reserve (aged 8 months in Boot Hill Distillery Bourbon barrels).

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Boot Hill Distillery White Whiskey

  • 1 oz orgeat

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • Dry red wine

Directions

Combine whiskey, lemon juice, and orgeat in a rocks glass and stir.

Fill glass with ice and float approximately 1/4 in of dry red wine over the back of a bar spoon.

Garnish with a a fresh or dehydrated lemon wheel.
