Harvest Pear
We originally created this cocktail to have on tap in our Tasting Room. After so many requests for the Harvest Pear recipe, we finally scaled it down for you to make at home or at your next fall party!
Ingredients
2 oz Boot Hill Distillery Red Eye Whiskey
1 1/2 oz pear nectar
1 oz cinnamon simple syrup*
3/4 oz lemon juice
3 dashes Angostura bitters
Directions
Add all ingredients to shaker with ice.
Double strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
*Cinnamon Simple Syrup
1 C water
1 C sugar
36 g cinnamon sticks
Add sugar and cinnamon to water and bring to a boil. Boil for about 5-10 minutes, then bring down to a simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat and allow to cool. Filter syrup into storage container using a fine mesh strainer and coffee filter.
