EXPERIMENT 004: BOURBON WHISKEY Our oldest release to date, this bourbon is from initial runs of pure corn mash bills. The newmake spirit would have been very similar to our current moonshine. Resting in 5 and 10 gallon barrels for 2+ years brings out the best that corn has to offer.

NOSE: Caramel apple, vanilla, plantain with a hint of cinnamon, clove, and the slightest bit of tobacco.

NEAT: Starting off sweet: créme brulee, with a hint of citrus which leads into a spice: cinnamon, clove and oak. Finishing off with hints of brown sugar and buttered cornbread.

RECOMMENDATION: Serve neat, sample small amounts over a long amount of time to acclimate to the high proof. Try 3 drops of water to adjust proof slightly.
